With a thirty-six year track record as a design professional, she takes pride in consulting effectively with clients and providing a work ethic of quality, integrity, creativity, commitment and excellence.

All design work and images are created exclusively for my clients. Irene Z began her design career working in graphic design studios and corporations under the art direction of distinguished professionals in leading Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and Boston design studios; corporate and packaging design departments. Irene's classic and innovative approach to graphic design earned her national awards from Print Magazine, Print's Best Logo's & Symbols, Graphic Design USA & The Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington. Areas of expertise include logos, annual reports, brochures, newsletters, corporate id, ad campaigns, pamphlets, posters, calendars & invitations. Irene has also designed a multiplicity of book covers & book interiors for several national book publishers.
  • I am proud to share my experience creating communications which combine conceptual theory, creativity and technology. Irene received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design from The Pennsylvania State University in 1983, a Graphic Design with Computer Certificate from Montgomery College in 2002; accompanied by an AA Degree in Studio Art in 1980. She has additionally studied computer graphic design & illustration at The Corcoran School of Art, The Art Institute of Boston, Maryland University and Maryland Institute College of Art. Invited to join the faculty of Montgomery College's Communications Arts Department, Irene served as Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design from 2005 to 2009. Irene was also Adjunct Graphic Design Professor at Columbia Union College in the 1980s. Irene has made numerous graphic design presentations to Montgomery County Public Schools, presenting her children's picture books, The Dreamer & The Moon; and The Ballerina & The Moon. The books are approved by MCPS evaluation & selection; and appear in MCPS elementary schools.
